# Account & billing
Source: https://crunchjunkie.io/docs/account-billing

Plans, trials, upgrades, invoices, team members, cancellation, refunds, and closing your account.

## Plans and what's included
CrunchJunkie offers a range of plans to match agency size. Solo is an entry tier at €14/mo for individuals getting started; Starter (€59/mo, or €49/mo billed annually) suits small teams; Pro (€149/mo, or €124/mo annual) adds more capacity; and Agency (€224/mo, or €186/mo annual, up to 40 Brands / Domains) is built for larger client books. The Scale tier is custom for large networks. Higher tiers raise the limits on Brands / Domains, reports, team users, and white-label options.

AI Visibility's Managed AI is priced separately and metered by check: you pick a monthly package with an included check allowance (from €25/mo Lite up to €399/mo Scale) and pay €0.05/check beyond it, with premium engines counting 3×. Unused checks roll over into the next month while you hold the package. There is no cap on how many prompts you track. You can always bring your own keys instead at no markup. You can compare every plan side by side on the pricing page.

All prices shown are net and exclude VAT; any applicable VAT is added at checkout.

## Trials
Every new workspace starts with a 14-day free trial with full access to features. You add a payment method when you start the trial, but nothing is charged during the 14 days — it's the best way to connect a real account, build a report, and run a visibility scan on your own data before paying anything.

During the trial you also get Perplexity AI Visibility included free (one model, one Brand / Domain) so you can see the product working on your own brand without configuring any API keys. Trial projects scan every day automatically. You can bring your own keys, add more Managed AI models, or change your plan at any point — even mid-trial.

Two ways to move up during a trial (both under Settings → Billing, workspace owner only): **change your plan** — this simply updates which plan you'll be billed for when the trial ends, with no charge now; or **Activate now** — this ends your trial immediately, charges your card today, and unlocks your plan's full functionality straight away (handy when you've decided and want the higher limits without waiting out the trial).

When the 14 days end, your selected plan begins automatically on the payment method you added, and the trial limits lift. If CrunchJunkie isn't for you, cancel anytime before the trial ends (see "How to cancel your subscription" below) and you won't be charged.

## Upgrading and downgrading
Change your plan at any time under Settings → Billing (workspace owner only). Upgrades take effect immediately so you get the higher limits right away, with the cost prorated for the remainder of your billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period, so you keep what you've paid for until then.

On a free trial it works a little differently: changing plan updates what you'll pay when the trial ends without charging you now, or you can use **Activate now** to start your plan today and get full access immediately. See "Trials" above.

If a downgrade would put you over the new plan's limits — too many Brands / Domains or users, for example — CrunchJunkie tells you what to adjust before the change applies, so nothing is removed without your knowledge.

## Invoices and receipts
Billing is handled securely by Stripe, and CrunchJunkie never stores full card details. Every invoice and receipt is available under Settings → Billing → Invoices, where you can download a PDF for your records or your finance team. Add your company's billing details and VAT ID there so they appear correctly on every invoice.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term at the then-current price. We give advance notice of any price change, and a change never affects the term you've already paid for.

## Team members and users
Manage your team under Settings → Team. Invite colleagues by email and assign a role: admins handle billing and integrations, members build and deliver reports. Each plan includes a set number of users; if you need more than your plan allows, upgrading raises the limit.

Removing a member revokes their access immediately but leaves everything they built untouched — reports, templates, and schedules all remain in the shared workspace. Roles can be changed at any time as responsibilities shift.

## Workspaces
One login can belong to several workspaces: your own, and the ones a colleague or a client invited you into. Each workspace is separate — its members, clients, data, integrations and plan are its own. Switch at the top of the sidebar, or under Settings → Workspaces, which also lists the invitations waiting for your email; accepting one opens the workspace you joined. The app remembers the workspace you used last, on every device, and the AI assistants connected through MCP act in it too unless they were pointed at another one.

From the Pro plan, the owner of a paying workspace can create more under Settings → Workspaces, covered by that plan — no second card: Pro includes 3 workspaces, Agency 10, Scale has no cap, counted as the paying workspace plus the ones it covers. A covered workspace shares the plan's pooled limits — client slots, seats (people are counted once across the group), Managed AI checks and overage, the rank budget and assistant messages — while its members, AI keys, white label, custom domain, SSO, webhooks and MCP switches stay its own; invoices, the card and plan changes live in the paying workspace, and if that subscription ends, the covered workspaces stop with it. An admin, or anyone creating from a covered workspace, gets a workspace with its own plan and card instead. A covered workspace can leave the shared plan at any time (Settings → Billing → Start its own subscription) and pick a plan of its own; a paying workspace cannot be deleted while it still covers others. Need more workspaces than your plan includes? Write to us — we can add some to your plan, covered like the others.

A workspace you no longer work in can be archived (Settings → Workspaces, by an owner, from another workspace): everything is kept — members, clients, data, reports — but nothing runs: no scans, no scheduled reports or digests, no sends, and the API, the connector and webhooks are off for it. Its clients and seats stop counting against the plan while it is archived, so it frees room without losing anything. An owner restores it any time, within the plan's room as it stands then. Owners of several paying workspaces can also move a covered workspace from one plan to another.

## Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Add a second step to every login under Settings → Security. Click to enable two-factor authentication, then scan the QR code with any authenticator app — Google Authenticator, 1Password, or Authy all work — and enter the six-digit code it shows to confirm the pairing.

The moment 2FA is on, CrunchJunkie issues a set of one-time recovery codes — save them somewhere safe, because they're shown only once and each lets you back in if you ever lose your authenticator. From then on, a fresh code from your app is required every time you sign in, so your workspace stays protected even if your password is compromised.

## How to cancel your subscription
You can cancel at any time, in a few clicks, with no email or phone call required:

1. Open Settings → Billing.
2. Click "Manage subscription" (or "Cancel subscription"). This opens the secure Stripe billing portal.
3. Choose "Cancel plan" and confirm.

That's it. What happens next:

• If you're still in your 14-day free trial, cancelling means you're never charged — access continues until the trial's end date, then the workspace closes.
• If you're on a paid plan, cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you're never charged for a partial period after that.
• Your Managed AI plan is cancelled together with the subscription. You can also change or cancel your Managed AI plan on its own under Settings → Billing, or turn individual models on and off under Settings → AI & API Keys, without cancelling your whole subscription.
• After the subscription has ended, the workspace is kept for 30 days. Then we email the workspace owner, and 7 days after that email the workspace is deleted with everything in it, unless a plan is chosen before then. To keep a copy, download it first under Settings → Export your data. A subscription whose payment is still being retried has not ended.
• If you pause instead ("Pause subscription & keep my data", offered when you close your account), your data is kept for up to 12 months while paused. After that the owner gets the same email, with 30 days' notice. Resuming before then keeps everything.

Changed your mind? As long as the period hasn't ended, you can resubscribe from Settings → Billing and pick up exactly where you left off — your reports, clients, and templates are all still there. If you have any trouble, email hello@crunchjunkie.io and we'll sort it out.

Want your card gone as well? Once your subscription has ended, Settings → Billing shows "Remove my saved payment method". It deletes the card (or Link, or SEPA mandate) from our payment provider. While a subscription is still running the card can only be replaced, under Manage billing, because something has to pay for the plan.

## Refunds
Because every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, you can evaluate CrunchJunkie fully before any money changes hands — so cancelling before the trial ends always means you pay nothing.

After a paid period begins: monthly plans aren't refunded for the current month, but cancelling stops all future charges and you keep access until the period ends. Annual plans aren't refunded for the unused portion of the term, except where mandatory law requires it. If we ever discontinue the Service or substantially reduce core functionality during a term you've paid for, we provide a pro-rated refund. For anything that feels unfair — an accidental renewal you didn't intend, for example — email hello@crunchjunkie.io within 14 days and we'll do our best to make it right. The full terms are in our Terms of Service.

## Exporting or deleting a client
Deleting a client is permanent: its reports, data sources, AI Visibility and Rank Tracker history go with it and cannot be restored. Share links you sent for the client stop working, scheduled report sends for it stop, and usage already counted this billing period stays counted. Owners and admins can delete a client from Clients → the bin icon on its row.

Export the client's reports and data first. The delete dialog offers "Export this client's reports and data first" (recommended), and every client row has "Export this client" (the download icon). Either builds one ZIP file: every report as a PDF for its default period, rendered exactly as Download PDF makes it; the full AI-visibility history per day, engine and brand, pooled as the Overview pools it, with the number of answers behind every rate and no date window; the prompts with their tags, intent and market; every AI answer with its mentions and its cited and retrieved sources, flagged the way the API flags them (from model memory, Google's redirect links, engines that name sites rather than pages) and marked where the visibility numbers count it; the cited domains and the URLs tab's citation lifetimes; Peec AI's fan-out searches where the project has them; every Rank Tracker check, not only the latest; signals, goals, timeline notes and content briefs; and a README that explains every file and column. It does not hold the ad and analytics platforms' own figures or the Google Ads change history (each report's PDF shows its figures for the report's period), report layouts, share links, scheduled sends, automations, GEO audits, AI crawler visits, AI Shopping products or the usage ledgers; the dialog and the README list everything left out. The CSV files open in Excel and Google Sheets; a text cell that starts like a formula begins with an apostrophe so it never runs.

The export runs in the background, because report PDFs and a long history take a while: the dialog shows its progress, you can close it, and you get an email when the file is ready. It then waits under Clients → Your client exports. Only the person who started an export can download it, signed in to the same workspace as an owner or admin; the file is stored encrypted in Frankfurt (EU) and deleted 7 days after it is ready. A client cannot be deleted while its export is still running: wait until it is ready, or cancel it. You can always delete without exporting. A client can be exported three times an hour.

Download ZIP checks the file before the download starts, so a problem shows in the dialog in your language instead of as a failed browser download. The download has to finish within 13 minutes: a file of 1 GB needs a connection of about 10 Mbit/s, and the dialog says so for a large file. An export stops as soon as the client's data would be more than one ZIP file can hold (4 GiB, about 4.3 GB, or 65,535 files) and says so; contact support and we'll help you get the data.

## Deleting your account and data
If you want to remove your data entirely, request account deletion from Settings → Workspace. Deleting your account also cancels any active subscription automatically, so you won't be billed again.

After deletion, account and workspace data is removed or anonymised within 30 days, and you can export your reports beforehand. Billing records are retained only as long as the law requires. If you'd like a hand exporting before you go, email hello@crunchjunkie.io and we'll help.
