- ✕ You switch between CrunchJunkie and your AI assistant constantly
- ✕ You copy-paste numbers into prompts to give the model context
- ✕ Your assistant gives generic marketing advice — it can't see your data
- ✕ Reports mean screenshots and manual compilation
With CrunchJunkie MCP
- Ask questions and get answers from your real data, right inside your assistant
- Cross-channel performance, comparisons and AI-visibility in one prompt
- The assistant reasons over your actual numbers — grounded, not generic
- A report is a question away, no logging into a dashboard

Secure by design
Connecting an AI assistant to your marketing data should never be a risk. CrunchJunkie's MCP is built read-only and locked down from the first byte.
Read-only
Every tool is read-only and non-destructive. The MCP can look at your data — it can never change, delete or spend anything.
Team-scoped
A connection only ever sees your own team's clients, reports and metrics. Never another workspace's data.
Scoped OAuth 2.1
You approve with a standard OAuth login and granular read scopes (reports, visibility, clients). No long-lived API keys to leak.
Audited & revocable
Every call is rate-limited and audit-logged, and you can revoke a connection instantly from Settings. Paid-plan gated.
Frequently asked questions
What is an MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant securely connect to an external tool and use its data. CrunchJunkie's MCP lets assistants like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor read your marketing and AI-visibility data so their answers are grounded in your real numbers.
Which AI assistants work with it?
Any MCP-compatible client — including Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app), ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and others. You add one connector URL and approve access with a CrunchJunkie login.
Is it read-only, or can it take actions?
Reading is always on and never changes your data. Write actions (like creating a report) are off by default and opt-in per workspace under Settings → MCP — and even then every write needs an explicit confirmation in your assistant before it happens. Nothing is ever deleted, and no budget is ever spent.
What data can I access?
Your clients and their connected data sources, your reports and their live underlying data across every channel, and your AI-visibility and AI-shopping metrics — all team-scoped to your workspace.
Do I need to write code?
No. There's nothing to build or install — paste the connector URL into your assistant, approve the login, and start asking.
Does this replace the CrunchJunkie dashboard?
No — it's an additional surface. The dashboard is still where you build white-label reports, schedule delivery and configure scans. The MCP brings that data into your AI workflow for fast, conversational analysis.
