Because the two measure different things. A manual check in the ChatGPT or Gemini app uses your account's default model, your memory, custom instructions and location, and live web browsing — one personalised, noisy sample. CrunchJunkie scans a defined list of specific model versions via their APIs, runs clean with no personal memory, and runs each prompt several times so the noise averages out. Check the Integrations page. If a token has expired or been revoked, you'll see a Reconnect banner in the Needs attention area — click it and re-authorize to restore the connection and resume the daily sync. If an account doesn't appear during setup, the user you authorized with probably lacks read access on the provider's side. Bring-your-own-keys connects your own provider API keys; CrunchJunkie runs your scans through them and you pay only the providers' usage rates, with no markup — most cost-effective if you already have provider accounts. Managed AI is the no-setup option, metered by check under a monthly plan (from €25/mo, €0.08/check overage, premium models 3×; all excl. No — all listed prices are net and exclude VAT. Any applicable VAT is added at checkout, and you can enter your company's VAT ID under Settings → Billing so it appears correctly on every invoice. For reference: Solo €9/mo, Starter €39/mo (€32 annual), Pro €99/mo (€82 annual), Agency €149/mo (€124 annual), and Scale is custom. Yes. Connections use read-only, scoped, revocable OAuth — we never see your platform passwords and never change your campaigns. Tokens and any bring-your-own AI keys are encrypted at rest. You can turn on two-factor authentication under Settings → Security, payments run through PCI-compliant Stripe (we don't store card details), and you can delete your account at any time, after which data is removed or anonymised within 30 days. The GEO Audit measures readiness — whether a site is technically positioned to be crawled, parsed and cited by AI engines — and gives it a 0–100 score. AI visibility measures results — whether a brand is actually mentioned in AI answers, via Visibility %, Share of Voice and the rest. Readiness is necessary but not sufficient, so the two are kept separate on purpose: fix readiness in the GEO Audit, then watch the Visibility tab to see whether it translates into real citations.
